Whoopi Goldberg’s daughter, Alex Martin, insists she is not a “nepo baby” despite her mother’s fame and fortune. Alex, 51, appeared on The View to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.

Whoopi recently stated she will leave her entire estate to Alex. This came up during a discussion about celebrity parents not leaving fortunes to their kids. In her memoir, Whoopi shared that Alex got pregnant as a teenager partly to have someone in her life who didn’t know Whoopi Goldberg. Whoopi admitted she chose her acting career over being present for Alex during her early years.
