Captain America: The New World Order (2024): In April 2021, it was announced that a fourth Captain America film was in development, with a screenplay co-written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The duo previously served as executive and staff writers, respectively, on the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021). Anthony Mackie arrived in August of that year to direct the film, reprising his role as Sam Wilson/Captain America. Julius Ona will direct in July 2022. The film will explore the impact being Captain America had on Wilson. Filming is scheduled to begin in early 2023. Captain America: New World Order is scheduled for release on May 3, 2024

Harrison Ford plays Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, replacing William Hurt from the previous MCU films.
