Gordon Ramsay: “I’m In Pain” After Bicycle Accident, Credits Helmet for Saving His Life
Gordon Ramsay suffered a brutal bicycle accident on the roads of Connecticut. The celebrity chef shared that he is lucky to be able to walk after the incident.
Ramsay took to Instagram to update fans about his injuries. He revealed that it has been a painful week and credited his helmet for saving his life. Despite being seriously shaken and heavily bruised, Ramsay did not break any bones.
In his Instagram post, Ramsay shared pictures of his bruises and the ruined helmet. He emphasized the importance of wearing helmets, saying, “I’m in pain. It’s been a brutal week. But I cannot tell you the importance of wearing a helmet.”
Ramsay expressed his gratitude, stating, “Honestly, I’m lucky to be here.” He described his injuries as looking “like a purple potato” but without major harm.
On Father’s Day, Ramsay urged all dads to ensure their kids wear helmets, regardless of journey length or cost. He shared before and after pictures of his cycling jersey and helmet, both destroyed in the crash.
