Inside Out 2 (2024) Film Review
Pixar’s latest release, “Inside Out 2,” finally brings quality animation back to theaters with its sequel approach. Directed by Kelsey Mann, this film delves into Riley’s teenage years, exploring themes of belonging and identity through familiar characters like Joy (Amy Poehler) and her emotional crew.
The story kicks off with Joy perfecting a new memory management system, but Riley’s challenges with puberty and friendship dynamics, fueled by new emotions like Anxiety and Envy, threaten her stability. Despite sticking to the original formula, the film mixes humor and heart as it navigates the pressures of teenage life, though some new characters don’t quite match the impact of earlier favorites.
