Kalki 2898 AD: ‘Perumallapadu’ Nageswara Swamy Temple in Kalki Movie!
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin, starring Prabhas. Produced by Ashwinidat under Vyjayanthi Movies, it boasts a huge budget. The film, eagerly awaited by fans, releases on June 27. Shooting took place in various locations in India and abroad.
Temple Scenes in Kalki
Social media is buzzing with news that the film depicts the Nageswara Temple in Perumallapadu, Nellore district. Scenes between Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan are rumored to be set there. To confirm this, we have to wait for the release.

Historical Temple Unearthed
In 2020, local youths unearthed the temple buried in sand. Locals requested the government to restore it. The temple was lost to sandstorms 200 years ago and sits on hundreds of acres of land.

Star Cast and Release
Deepika Padukone stars opposite Prabhas, with Kamal Haasan as the villain. Amitabh Bachchan, Pashupati, and Disha Patani play key roles. Prabhas plays Bhairava, piloting a vehicle called ‘Buzzi’. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and several foreign languages, including English.
