Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mr. & Mrs. Mahi which released on Friday experienced a massive drop in its box office collection on the second day of its release. The drop comes after the initial boost it received from the Cinema Lovers Day offer on Friday which saw a significant drop in ticket prices.
On Friday, the film earned a massive Rs 3.05 crore due to the special offer which attracted the audience. However, on Saturday, the collection saw a massive drop, falling to Rs 2.40 crore. Despite the drop, the total box office collection in two days has reached Rs 5.45 crore.
The film which revolves around cricket created a lot of buzz even before its release. It is now facing tough competition from other releases and the ongoing IPL season. The coming days will reveal how much love this movie gets.
